ISO 9000The CRO Group approach to preparing your company for ISO 9000 is unique for each client. Each client has their own portfolio of business practices, most of which work well, or else that client would not be in business. The CRO Group takes as much from these practices, documents them in an easy-to-follow style, and interweaves these with the additional procedures needed for certification. In this way, the transformation of a people-dependent company to a certified quality system dependent firm is less traumatic, and more turnkey. Confidence in the practicality of the quality system builds so that when a key employee retires or "wins the lottery", the company is not paralyzed. It moves on, business as usual. The ISO 9000 standards up until the year 2000 came in three varieties: ISO 9001: Full Quality Systems including Design Controls ISO 9002: Production Quality System - for companies which do not design their products, or lack formal design resources ISO 9003: Product Quality System - for companies which manufacture components, and limit quality controls to final inspection. After 2000, substantial changes to the ISO 9000 standard was implemented. Check out our ISO 9000 2000 page for more information. |
